Lambda Awards Winner 2010/Bisexual Fiction for Holy Communion. Though born in West Germany Mykola (Mick) Dementiuk is Ukrainian and grew up in the United States. He is the author of Times Queer, Vienna Dolorosa, Holy Communion, (Synergy Press) and other writings. Over ten years ago, he suffered a stroke while in the process of working on his novella My Father’s Semen (STARbooks Press in Cruising for Bad Boys) and now writes with one finger of his left hand, his right arm and leg paralyzed.
